Drake, actor, rapper! The world's only black Jewish Canadian rap star, born Aubrey Drake Graham on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Canada. He grew up with music in his blood. Drake's father was a drummer for legendary rock star Jerry Lee Lewis, and Drake's mother mother, Sandi Graham, also is from a musical family.  Drake considers himself unique, after being born into a unique religious and racial background. Drake sure is unique that is why his fans all love him and follow him wherever he goes!

A fellow classmates at Forest Hill School gave Drake his start in the entertainment industry. In 2001, Drake landed a role on a teen drama series called Degrassi: The Next Generation. A show about the dramatic lives of a group of teenagers at Degrassi High School. Drake was Jimmy Brooks, sometimes dubbed "Wheelchair Jimmy," which was a basketball star who becomes permanently wheelchair bound when he was shot by a classmate. He starred in that role for. The show later developed a devoted cult following and they were known as "Degrassi fans," because of Drake, he became very popular in Canada.

While in Degraasi, Drake started to introduce himself into the Hip/Hop world and released his first mix tap in 2006, then after releasing more. Degrassi let Drake go in 2008. In mid 2009 he recorded with Lil Wayne and later in 2010 released his first full album, "thank me later" which hit #1 in both the US and Canada.
